Électro-bibliothèque was founded by Clément Le Tulle-Neyret & Thomas Leblond in 2021. Électro-bibliothèque publishes books and typefaces.
Électro-bibliothèque’s type catalog is developed based on a consideration of the abundance of styles and weights in type families; an abundance that occasionally seems to attenuate the essence, and primary idea, of a typeface. Électro-bibliothèque wishes to propose a more direct and essential, thus more economic, approach to typography. Most of our typefaces are made available in an extremely reduced number of weights, deliberately positioned halfway between running text and titling.
We also propose made-to-measure typefaces with two available options: — designed from scratch; — or based on other typefaces in our collection. We are more than happy to answer any questions that you might have, and we can be contacted at the following address: [email protected]
Électro-bibliothèque will propose a graphic, editorial and typographic approach, fueled by both the current issues of graphic design as well as its history. Our intention is to establish carefully crafted publications, to propose objects that highlight singular aspects, visual and sensorial phenomena from the field of typography in the broadest sense. Please note that books are sent once a week, usually on friday.
